FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Ethan Couch is scheduled to be released from the Tarrant County Jail on April 2nd after completing his 720-day jail term imposed as part of his adult probation.

Back in 2013, Couch, then 16 years old, killed four people while driving drunk.

Couch was sentenced to 10 years probation after his lawyers testified that he had "affluenza," a lack of discipline due to his affluent upbringing.

He and his mother fled to Mexico in late 2015 after he was caught on video attending a party where alcohol was served - a violation of his probation.

His mother, Tonya, is awaiting trial on charges related to that escape.
