DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - For anyone still bummed about North Texas falling short on our bid for Amazon's HQ2, Alexa wants to apologize.

Well, sort of.

The Amazon smart-speaker has been manipulated to apologize to every single city that Amazon rejected for the headquarters. Austin-based ad agency McGarrah Jessee created the "Please Apologize" function for Alexa, where you can make her say sorry for pretty much anything.

And all credit to the folks at McGarrah Jessee. The apology they created for us leaves no North Texas city behind. It starts: Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Plano, Irving, Garland, Grand Prairie, McKinney, Frisco...

You get the picture.

The message ends with a reminder that this is not actually endorsed by Amazon.

Thanks, Alexa. Sort of.
