Dallas Co. Grand Jury Indicts Accused Cop Killer On Several Charges

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The man accused of killing a Dallas police officer, wounding another and a Home Depot loss prevention officer, has been indicted.

A Dallas County grand jury returned a seven-count indictment on Tuesday against Armando Juarez.

The grand jury indicted him on a capital murder charge for the death of Rogelio Santander, and the attempted capital murders of officer Crystal Almeida and Home Depot employee Scott Painter. 

District Attorney Faith Johnson says Juarez also faces two more charges for firing at police officers during a chase. 

His bail set at $4 million.
