Arlington Man Dies In Shooting At Graduation Party

ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - A man is behind bars in Arlington this morning charged with murder after a shooting at a college graduation party.

Arlington Police say around 6:00 p.m. Sunday, people were gathered for a party at a home on Nocona Lane, east of Collins, in South Arlington , when 2 men started arguing.

One man pulled a gun and started shooting...then took off.

The accused shooter, 44 year old Hector Salazar was picked up a short time later. He's been booked into the Arlington jail on one count of murder.

The victim was found dead in the backyard. His name has not been released yet.
