June 22, 2019 - 2:21 pm

ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - Arlington Police Chief Will Johnson will be visiting a Jewish synagogue this evening, talking to the congregation about safety in the place of worship.

Johnson reached out to Congregation Beth Shalom following last October's shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, in which 11 people were killed.

Congregation President Pam Sudbury says in the wake of that shooting, the synagogue has taken extra security measures.
