DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Irving-based Boy Scouts of America organization is facing a major accusation in connection with child sex abuse.

A law firm specializing in childhood sex abuse victims claims to have uncovered about 130 alleged pedophiles that the Scouts kept secret.

The organization reportedly has files known as the 'Perversion Files,' which have these names of the alleged abusers and their victims.

Attorneys claim the number of abuse victims listed in those files is in the thousands, and that the Boy Scouts organization owes the public an explanation.

The Boy Scouts organization says in a statement they're outraged that their programs have been used to abuse children, and that they support victims by providing unlimited counseling.
