Car Found In Trinity River; Dallas Divers Find No One Inside

November 09, 2018 - 5:11 am

An air and water search has turned up no one after a car went into the Trinity River in southeast Dallas this morning.

Just after 3:30 a.m. police got word about a Cadillac that was in the river near Great Trinity Forest Way and Carbondale.

Officers found the car mostly submerged so Dallas Fire-Rescue divers went down to check the car out.

Finding no one, tow rigs were used to pull the car out.

Meanwhile, the Dallas police helicopter Air One was sent up to search the river with its powerful search-lights.

But still, no one was found.

So the mystery remains for Dallas police -- how did the car end up in the water and who was driving it?
