City of Hurst Set to Ban Short-Term Home Rentals

Another North Texas city is pushing back against the short-term rental of homes.
The Hurst city council plans to formally approve a new ordinance on December 11th.
The council gave unanimous approval to the plan Tuesday night after getting complaints about trash and noise. The plan is to put the rule in place in December and hold off on enforcing the ordinance for six months so property owners have time to comply.
Grapevine's version of a short-term rental ban is heading for trial next April.
