IRVING (1080 KRLD) - One of the clubs surrounding the new Toyota Music Factory in Irving is shutting down, even before it opened.

The venue was called "Big Beat Dallas" and it contained five different bars and restaurants with an emphasis on live music, all surrounding an outdoor stage.

But the operators posted a message on Facebook Tuesday saying that Tuesday night would be their last night.

They blamed parking problems, landlord interference and other factors for the closure.

Will Wilson has worked at Big Beat Dallas since it opened this Spring. He tells NBC5 he feels the landlord has been blocking their efforts to make the club thrive. A lawyer for Big Beat says promises about more parking and other issues were never kept.

The rest of the Toyota Music Factory is still open, and the developer says the closure of "Big Beat Dallas" will affect the rest of the venue.
