DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A co-conspirator in the bribery scheme of the late Dallas City Council member Carolyn Davis has pleaded guilty.

Yesterday, Jeremy Scroggins admitted to knowing about Davis accepting bribes while on the City Council and failing to report it.

Scroggins even helped conceal the bribes Davis took by funneling them through a non-profit organization he controlled.

The real estate developer accused of bribing Davis has pleaded not-guilty and has a trial scheduled for next year.

Davis and her adult daughter were killed in a wrong-way crash last week. Their funeral was held yesterday.
