Collin County Voters To Decide On Local Candidates And Propositions

PLANO (1080 KRLD) - In McKinney and Allen, from Frisco to Farmersville, and Plano to Princeton, voters in Collin county are voting for council members, court clerks, county judges, and justices of the peace.

In Frisco, a huge school bond proposal is on the ballott, again. In Princeton, voters will decide on school trustees.

Voters are deciding on 11 county wide propositions. including the issuance of bonds.

Voters will decide whether to spend millions of dollars for the construction of non-tolled, high-speed highways and freeways throughout the county and related service and frontage roads. Plus, bonds for the acquisition and improvement of land for parks and open spaces.

People will also vote to confirm directors of Municipal Utility Districts.

The ballot is a long one in Collin County today. And while over 270,000 people voted early in Collin County, thousands more are excerising their civic duty today by voting.

The polls close Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.
