Concert Fans Injured After Storm Blows Through Oklahoma Casino

THACKERVILLE, OK (1080 KRLD) -  Emergency personnel responded to treat concert fans who were injured when an outdoor structure collapsed at Winstar Casino in Oklahoma.

Officials say a storm damaged a pavilion at Winstar World Casino in Thackerville around 6:00 pm, ahead of a Backstreet Boys and 98 Degrees concert, 

Multiple reports say a number of emergency personnel responded to the scene and are treating fans who were injured when the structure collapsed on fans who sought shelter from the storm.

Eyewitness accounts says a metal awning fell on some of the concertgoers who were standing in line and a forklift had to be used to lift a portion of it off of people.

Some tweeted from the scene saying they saw a number of people strapped to stretchers and being rushed to area hospitals.
