FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) -  A 9-year-old girl will likely be taken off life support today as a temporary restraining order expires.

Payton Summons was rushed to the hospital after going into cardiac arrest and doctors declared her legally brain dead.

The temporary restraining order has kept her on a ventilator as her parents searched over 20 medical facilities to find someone to care for her.

Cook Children's in Fort Worth has original care of Payton, but said there was no more they could do.

A judge recently ruled that attorneys for Payton's family failed to prove that her survival chances are realistic.

The temporary restraining order ends after 1:00 p.m. Monday.
