April 17, 2018 - 5:21 am

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Crews will be back to work at daybreak to try to pull a car from the Trinity River that was spotted yesterday.

Dallas police spotted a car in the Trinity in South Dallas Monday afternoon, near I-45 and Loop 12. Crews from Dallas Fire Rescue launched a rescue mission but had to stop the search at dark.

Officials haven't confirmed who the car belongs to or if anyone was inside. They'll resume the effort at daylight this morning.

Divers from Texas Parks and Wildlife will enter the river at 9 am. Dallas Fire Rescue will provide backup.

North Richland Hills Police haven't said whether the car might belong to a man whose car went into the trinity near I45 and ledbetter in February.

Official say that man is thought to be James Booth. His body was never recovered.
