DALLAS (KRLD) - The Dallas Cowboys have long been known as America's team.  But many also bleed silver and blue in the land of the Union Jack.

Founded in 2012, the group "UK Cowboys Fans" has grown to more than a thousand members.  Rich Jones is one of them.  The Wales resident said, "There is a big, big following in the U.K, as I'm guessing you guys probably know from when Dallas came over a few seasons ago.  But obviously, we have followers on Twitter from everywhere.  There's Germany, we have guys from Iceland, we have guys from Australia and from the States, as well."

Even the significant time difference is no deterrent for these Cowboys backers in Europe.  A game that kicks off at 7:15 p.m. Central time translates to a 1:15 a.m. start in Britain. So, by the time Saturday's game wraps up at the L.A. Coliseum, it will be approaching sunrise in London. Jones said, "Whenever it's a Sunday night game, the late game, we always have plus 100 people up on Facebook, on Twitter, on Instagram following the game along with us.  We can catch the game, go to bed, catch a few hours sleep and then play with our body clocks."

Jones is 29, so he's too young to remember the glory eras for the Cowboys.  However, when they finally make it back to the Super Bowl, he plans to be there.  He said, "I did make a promise to my friend who got me into the Cowboys - he lives in Michigan - that when we make the big one, I'd get a flight over and we'd go."

For the record, Jones issued the following prediction:

Cowboys 31, Rams 28

You can hear the game Saturday evening on 105.3 The Fan, with kickoff at 7:15.
