Dallas County DA To Seek Death Penalty Against Suspected Serial Killer

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas County DA will seek the death penalty against accused serial killer Billy Chemirmir. 

Chemirmir is accused of killing more than a dozen elderly woman at several North Texas senior living communities.

Officials say Chemirmir posed as a maintenance worker to gain access to those communities.  Investigators says he smothered the women then stole their jewelry.

Chemirmir denies the charges. He remains behind bars with bail set at more than $11 million. 

No trial date has been set.
