DALLAS (KRLD) - A Dallas-Fire Rescue paramedic involved in a weekend crash continues to recover in the hospital this afternoon.

Early Sunday morning a man in a pick-up truck struck the passenger side of an ambulance - at the intersection of West Davis and North Westmoreland road.

Both medics in the ambulance, and well as the driver of the truck were taken to the hospital. The driver of the truck was killed.

One paramedic was released from the hospital,  but 29-year-old Nicolas Granados is dealing with a collapsed lung, fractured rib, and cuts and bruises all over his body. He is expected to make a full recovery and is thankful for all the well-wishes.
