Dallas Man Facing Multiple Charges In Fatal Drunk Driving Crash

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - A Dallas man is facing a variery of charges in connection with a fatal drunk driving crash earlier this summer that left 2 people dead, including a 6 year old.

25-year-old Jorge Campuzano is accused of two counts of intoxication manslaughter and two more counts of intoxication assault.

The accident happened June 5th on Elam Road near North Masters in Pleasant Grove.

Police say Campuzano was drunk and driving at a high rate of speed when be ran into a pickup truck. The impact killed 35-year-old Heladia Ochoa and her 6-year-old son Santini. Two others in the truck were injured.

Campuzano was critically injured but survived.

While Campuzano bonded out of jail, a judge has signed an order revoking bond after probation officials say Campuzano did not live up to terms of release.
