DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police are investigating after several people have been robbed at knife-point on the Katy trail recently.

Police say since October 21st there have been four robberies between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. at night.

Police say the men have been demanding cell phones and other things the victims have on them, then take off on foot.

Some women say they use the trail only when the suns out.

"If its dark, I usually have a bunch of people with me, or I just don't go. I think they could use more lighting out there at night," one woman says.

Dallas police are encouraging people to be aware of their surroundings while walking or exercising alone and suggest people either avoid running at night, or use extra caution.

Right now, police don't have much of a description but say they are looking for two or three Latin men under the age of 25.
