Dallas Police Searching For Oak Lawn Assault Suspects

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Police are looking for a couple who they say beat two gay men in the Oak Lawn area, and stole their cell phone. 

Dallas Police say the assault happened around 1:40 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of Knight Street and Brown Street when two men saw a Silver SUV, believed to be a Nissan Murano with a partial Texas plate of "KRK" nearing the intersection.

The two suspect, a man and woman, allegedly started yelling gay slurs at the two men. They then got out of the vehicle and beat them. The woman stole a phone belonging to one of them. 

The man is described as white 5’8, 145lbs, and between 20-30 years old. 

The woman is 5’7, 120lbs, and between 20-30 years old, with long brown hair. 

This offense has been categorized as a hate crime.
