ROWLETT (1080 KRLD) - Police say the man who hit a squad car and fire truck on I-30 may have been drunk.

Rowlett police were working a different crash in the eastbound lanes of I-30 near Dalrock on the bridge over Lake Ray Hubbard just after midnight Friday morning.

They say another car rear ended a parked police car working the first wreck. That crash forced the police car into the back of a fire truck.

No one was in the police car or fire truck, and no one was injured.

The driver of the other car was detained for suspicion of drunk driving.
