Employees, Patrons Escape Fire At Fort Worth IHOP

FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Employees and customers got out safely after a fire broke out at a North Texas IHOP during the breakfast rush.

Fort Worth Firefighters were called out to the IHOP restaurant near 820 and Lake Worth Boulevard Thursday morning.

When crew arrived, smoke and flames were pouring out of the building. 

Fort Worth Fire officials say there were 11 employees and 13 customers inside the IHOP at 5920 Quebec St. when the fire broke out shortly before 8:00 a.m.

Everyone got out safely. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
