MESQUITE (1080 KRLD) - A Mesquite mother was last seen a month ago, but her family continues to hold onto to hope that she's alive.

Police say they have few clues as to what happened to 26-year-old Prisma Denisse Reyes. Family knew something was wrong when she failed to pick up her child from the babysitter after work.

Police found her 2017 Jeep Wrangler fifteen miles away, abandoned at an apartment complex in the 3500 block of Roseland Ave, just east of downtown Dallas.

Dan Fuchs, Denisse's step-father, says its been tough on the family.

"Its really hard to talk to my grandson. Every time I talk to him he wants to know where his mom is. I still believe in my heart that she's still with us, but trying to get away from where she's at," he says.

The family has put up billboards and has been handing out flyers, and is offering a $2,500 dollar reward for information.

Released surveillance video shows Reyes near the area of the apartments. She is seen making a call on her cell phone. It's the last known location where she was seen before her disappearance. Police have interviewed the person who was on the phone with Reyes.
