Fan Struck By Line Drive At Globe Life Park

ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - There's been no word on the condition of a Rangers fan struck by a foul ball at Globe Life Park yesterday.
Left-Fielder Willie Calhoun was batting in the bottom of the first when he lined a shot into the stands down the right field line.
A woman sitting in the 25th row was hit on the forehead. She was tended to by medical staff and was seen walking up the aisle with some assistance.
She was taken to the hospital to get checked out but the team did not release any further information.
At Globe Life Park, protective netting extends just past the dugouts.
When the team opens its new park next year, the netting is expected to run from foul pole to foul pole.
