FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A federal judge has come down hard on a convicted Fort Worth pimp.

The judge sentenced 26-year-old Demarcus Davis, known by his street name "Zigg", to life in prison after he was found guilty for his role in a conspiracy to commit sex trafficking of underage girls.

Prosecutors say Davis recruited, controlled, and profited off underage female victims through commercial sex acts. They say he communicated with potential clients, collected proceeds, and paid for motels rooms and supplies.

Davis kept almost all, if not all, the money for himself, providing only food, shelter, and occasional clothing to the underage girls.

Three other men were sentenced for their roles in the trafficking, ranging from 5 and a half years to life behind bars.
