DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Lawyers for former Dallas police officer Amber Guyger have subpoenaed former Dallas County District Attorney Faith Johnson to make her available for pre-trial hearings.

The defense has also asked for material related to Johnson's campaign for district attorney in 2018 including e-mails, texts and speech scripts along with ad copy and artwork, especially that which might pertain to Guyger or to Botham Jean, the man she is accused of killing.

Some legal analysts believe these requests are part of the defense's plans to seek a change-of-venue out of Dallas.
