DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - An 11-year-old Florida boy who has handed out more than 77,000 donuts to police officers around the country will be in North Texas today.

Tyler Carach is using his allowance to buy donuts for police officers as a way to say thank you for their service.

He'll be in DeSoto at 3:00 this afternoon. Sgt Grady Kirkland says officers can't wait to meet the kid known as 'Donut Boy'. "We got a few goodies bags for him and hopefully he'll feel like family when he leaves" says Kirkland.

In the past 2 years Tyler has visited police departments in 42 states and plans to visit all 50 states before his thank you mission is done.
