FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A game room in southeast Fort Worth was raided this week.

Following an investigation, agents raided the 820 Arcade at the East Loop 820 and Berry St.

"They made eight felony arrests," says Ofc. Jimmy Pollozani. "Six were employees who were arrested for engaging in organized crime/promotion of gambling, one felony arrest was for a drug charge and one for a parole violation.

Those arrested range in age from 21 to 54.

Customers inside were also issued citations.

"There were a total of 15 general complaint citations issued for gambling to customers of the establishment," says Pollozani.

No one was injured during the raid.

"All the individuals that were arrested were arrested without incident and booked into our jail," Pollozani says. "These are crime-driven locations, so we try to put an end to this."
