FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price says she will seek a fifth two-year term next year.

Price was first elected mayor of Fort Worth in 2011, succeeding the retiring Mike Moncrief.

She was unopposed in her re-election bids in 2013 and 2015.

Last year, Price beat Chris Nettles by 40 points.

Unlike Dallas and Arlington, the mayor of Fort Worth is not term-limited.

Price will make a formal announcement early next month.
