FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth teenager who allegedly raped an elderly woman inside her home is behind bars.

Police say early Sunday morning, Jesus Arredondo Gloria, 19, was impersonating a police officer as he forced his way into a 78-year-old woman's house on Burton Ave.

Once inside, Gloria allegedly threatened her with a knife as he demanded money, and he sexually assaulted her.

Police say he then stole the woman's car and ditched it on Mitchell Ave.

From there, Gloria allegedly went to the area of U.S. 287 and Rosedale Ave. and started throwing rocks at passing vehicles.

One of the rocks hit a Fort Worth Police patrol car, bringing Gloria's crime spree to an end.

Gloria is now in the Tarrant County Jail.

The elderly woman who was sexually assaulted allegedly by Gloria was treated at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
