FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - A Fort Worth woman has been convicted of endangering a child and sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Jessica Langlais had been accused of capital murder in the August 2017 death of her two year old son Adrian. The child suffered facial injuries and a fractured skull when he was slammed to the wall.

Langlais's ex-boyfriend, Christian Tyrrell, is serving a prison term of life without parole after he was found guilty of capital murder.

Langlais said Tyrrell was supposed to be watching her child while she worked. Prosecutors said Langlais researched head injuries the night of the injuries, but that she did not take the boy to the hospital. It wasn't until the next day that Tyrrell called for help, claiming the boy had fallen out of a playpen.
