FRISCO (1080 KRLD) - The Frisco city council is expected to vote on a deal this week that would bring the PGA of America to the city.

If the vote passes, the PGA would relocate its entire headquarters to Frisco.

A potential site has already been examined on the Dallas North Tollway at Panther Creek Parkway.

The deal also includes a guarantee that a future PGA Championship will take place in Frisco.

The PGA Tour has shuffled its calendar for next year...moving the championship up to be held in mid-May, instead of August. That way the tournament can be played here in Texas.

There's no set time frame for when PGA's relocation to Frisco would happen, but it could start as early as next spring.

The vote to allow it to come here should take place at Frisco's city council meeting tomorrow.
