MCKINNEY (KRLD) - A McKinney teenager slammed to the ground during a pool party has settled a federal lawsuit against the city and police department.

Family of then 15-year-old Dajerria Becton filed the suit in June 2015. Cell phone video shows her being forced to the ground by then-officer Eric Casebolt, who kept her down by putting his knees in her back.

McKinney police were sent to the Craig Ranch North subdivision to break up a pool party they claim was too rowdy.

Court documents filed recently show that Becton gets almost $150,000 in this settlement. Six others on the lawsuit get $6,000 each.
