October 24, 2018 - 3:14 am

Highland Park's Clayton Kershaw gets saddled with the loss as his Dodgers lost to the Red Sox 8-4 in last night's Opening Game of the World Series.

Starting for Los Angeles, lasted just four innings and gave up five runs on seven hits.

Boston scored twice in the bottom of the first and never trailed even though the Dodgers tied the score twice in the third and the fifth before Sox pinch-hitter Eduardo Nunez broke the game open with a three-run homer in the seventh.

Game Two of the Series is scheduled at Fenway tonight, weather permitting.

There's a 30 percent chance of rain in Boston today.
