DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Groups across the country are planning rallies today over the Trump Administration's policy that's separating kids from their parents if they cross the border illegally.

Demonstrators are scheduled to gather outside Dallas City Hall tonight to protest the Trump Administration's "zero tolerance" policy on immigration.

Organizer Julio Acosta is expecting several hundred people tonight.

Acosta says demonstrators will call on detention facilities to be shut down so families can be reunited.

Dozens of other demonstrations are set up across the country, including Houston, Galveston and Austin.
