ARLINGTON (1080 KRLD) - This spring, North Texas is the place to be for 3 days of music, comedy, and everything a music festival is not.

That’s how KAABOO Texas describes itself. The event comes to AT&T Stadium for its first US appearance outside of California, where it began in 2015. Organizers claim their offerings of music, comedy, art, cuisine, and indulgences will appeal to all five senses.

KAABOO’s inaugural weekend at AT&T Stadium brings some high rolling acts with it. On the music side, headliners for the three day event include Sting, Kid Rock, and the Killers. However, the music acts span genres, and people can also hear Pitbull, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Little Big Town, and the Avett Brothers to name a few.

Comedic headliners are Dennis Miller and Brad Garrett, with other appearances from Whitney Cummings, Demitri Martin, and more.

KAABOO will take over AT&T Stadium, with six stages for all the entertainment, a DJ booth, and even a pool setup that wouldn’t look out of place in Las Vegas. Organizers are also planning for a pop up spa and contemporary art installations.

However, this immersive experience comes at a price. 3 day general admission tickets are just under $300, with access to all the entertainment and some gourmet tasting experiences. Then there are several tiers of VIP experience. Those tickets top out at $4200, with opportunities for meet and greets, access to lounges and the pool area, and complimentary food.

The event takes place May 10-12. As a few last clinchers, KaaBoo boasts that attendees will be able to have plenty of places to sit in comfort, and there will be no porta-potties allowed.
