Kim Kardashian has yet another project under her belt despite how busy she is between studying for the bar exam, raising a fourth child, and working in the world of cosmetics. She’s just launched a line of shapewear garments (think Spanx), and they’re getting a ton of backlash.

The line, called Kimono, is a underwear made to help shape your body in the way you want it to. It’s all about making the female body look just how you want it to look without completely suffocating you in the process.

She shared a first look at the line on Instagram Tuesday. “Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work.”

Finally I can share with you guys this project that I have been developing for the last year. I’ve been passionate about this for 15 years. Kimono is my take on shapewear and solutions for women that actually work. I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapeware color that blended with my skin tone so we needed a solution for all of this. The third pic is the solution short. I developed this style for all of those times I wanted to wear a dress or skirt with a slit and still needed the support. Introducing Kimono Solutionwear™ for every body. Coming Soon in sizes XXS - 4XL in 9 shades. I can’t wait for you to feel this fabric!#KimonoBody @kimono Photos by Vanessa Beecroft

The line of undergarments features pieces with cutouts in all the right places, so you don’t have to wish that your Spanx were more or less constricting in certain spots. The most notable of Kardashian's looks is a bottom piece with one leg that's longer than the other - presumably for dresses with high slits on one side.

“I would always cut up my shapewear to make my own styles, and there have also been so many times I couldn’t find a shapewear color that blended with my skin tone, so we needed a solution for all of these,” she continues.

However, the shapewear line has gotten a lot of backlash on the Internet. For starters, many are accusing Kardashian of appropriating Japanese culture by calling the brand Kimono.

As much backlash as she’s getting for the name, the shapewear line is definitely inclusive, coming in 9 different shades and sizes XXS to 4XL.
