The Latest Texas High School Football Rankings

With three weeks left in the regular season, Allen, Aledo, Carthage, Newton and Mason remain on top of their respective classes in the Associated Press high school football poll.

In Class 6A, Allen (7-0) received 22 of 25 first-place votes to remain at No. 1 for the ninth straight week.  Duncanville (7-0) held at No. 5, and Southlake Carroll (7-0) stayed at No. 6.  Haltom is ranked at No. 12 in the latest poll.

In 5A, Aledo (7-0) picked up 22 of 25 first-place votes to hold at No. 1.  Highland Park (7-0) remained in the No. 2 spot, with Denton Ryan (7-0) again ranked third.  Frisco Reedy (8-0) is at No. 10 in 5A.  Frisco Lone Star, Mesquite Poteet, Birdville and The Colony all received votes in the latest 5A poll.

In Class 4A, Argyle (7-0) got five first-place votes, and remained a solid No. 2 behind top-ranked Carthage (7-0).  Midlothian Heritage (6-1) stayed at No. 6.  Glen Rose, Springtown and Stephenville also received votes in 4A.

In 3A, Gunter (8-0) held at No. 2 behind Newton for another week, while Brock (6-1) jumped three spots to No. 4.

In Class 2A, Muenster (6-1) slipped a spot to No. 8.​
