Voting Related Issues In Texas, According To Google

DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Google Trends tracks the top searches from Google Search from around the world. Today, it has been tracking voter-related issues, and popular searches surrounding the 2018 mid-term elections.

According to Google Trends "long wait times" and "provisional ballots" topped the list of issues voters in Texas were searching. "Inactive voter status", "voter intimidation", and "voter machine problems" rounded out the top five searches.

The "long wait times" search had a 609% spike in Weatherford, a 445% spike in Denton, and a 282% spike in Farmers Branch.

"Provisional ballots" saw it's largest spike in McKinney, 433%, and Mesquite, 414%.

The largest spikes in voter interest came from Grand Prarie, that had a 45% increase, Atascocita, that also had a 45% increase, and Dayton, that had a 66% increase.
