DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Snakes in North Texas are a fairly common sight, but expect to see more of them while days are comfortable and nights are cool.

Being reptiles, snakes usually seek out places to stay warm. That's exactly what Southlake police officer Raymon Cannon came across this week.

Cannon discovered a group of six copperheads sunning themselves on a pedestrian walkway at the TD Ameritrade campus.

The snakes did get a bit agitated when Cannon came near, but they were removed and relocated without an incident.
