ARLINGTON (KRLD) - Authorities want to find a north Texas man they say is assaulting female joggers.

The incidents started last month in Arlington. Police say the suspect would run up behind a woman while they are jogging and grab them before taking off.

Lieutenant Chris Cook says in the latest incident, the suspect picked the woman up and threw her down.

"We want to catch him because we believe he is getting more aggressive with the women he is assaulting," he says.

In each of these incidents, the victims were not injured after the assault occurred and the suspect ran away on foot.

He says similar incidents have occurred in Haltom City, Euless, and Hurst.

The suspect is described as a black male, 16-25 years old and between 5’08 to 5’10 inches tall.
