DALLAS (KRLD) - He looked down on his luck until a Harris County constable dug into his past. Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 office got a call about a man with a long white beard who drivers say made them feel unsafe as he approached them for money.

Deputies found out the man's name is Glenn Vaughn and then discovered he had 70 open warrants for his arrest.

Most were Class C Misdemeanors. But, one warrant showed he used a crowbar to break into the money compartment of a vending machine at a laundry mat.

His bond was set at $120.00 out of County Court 4 for the burglary of a coin-operated machine warrant.

Constable Mark Herman is quoted on Facebook as saying, "The remaining 69 warrants will be cleared out due to him presently being in jail."
