FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - An American Airlines passenger is suing the carrier claiming negligence because an employee sent unwanted and rather personal texts aboard a flight.

Last year, Ashley Barno was en route from San Diego to Chicago when she began receiving texts from an unknown phone number, and some of them were creepy because it was clear the sender had his eyes on her.

He was describing her including her clothing.

The sender apparently got her phone number from her luggage tag while they waited in the terminal.

The man identified himself by the name "Ahmad" and when Barno asked, a flight attendant knew just who that was.

Upon landing in Chicago, security surrounded "Ahmad" and hauled him off the plane.

Barno says American's response has been disappointing and her lawyer is suing American for, among other things, negligent hiring and sexual harassment.
