SOUTHLAKE (1080 KRLD) - More than three months after Los Angeles Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs died in Southlake, the team is fending off reports that it knew a team employee had been supplying drugs to Skaggs for several years.

The medical examiner determined Skaggs had opioids in his system along with alcohol when he was found dead in his hotel room in July.

The employee is now co-operating with the DEA in its investigation and has reportedly given agents the names of at least five other players to whom he gave opioids.
