DALLAS (KRLD) - Chick-fil-A locations in Grand Prairie, Arlington and Mansfield will host fundraisers Monday night for the family of Grand Prairie Police Officer A.J. Castaneda. Castaneda died in the line of duty June 7 when he was hit by a car while working traffic enforcement.

Six Chick-fil-A locations will donate 20 percent of their sales to Castaneda's family from 5-9 p.m. Monday:

3041 Camp Wisdom

Grand Prairie, TX 75052

3970 S. Carrier

Grand Prairie, TX 75052

4700 S. Cooper

Arlington, TX 76017

1505 N. Collins

Arlington, TX 76011

800 N. Walnut Creek

Mansfield, TX 76063

3200 E. Broad St.

Mansfield, TX 76063

Those locations will also sell t-shirts made by "Back the Blue HQ."

"They go out and do their job. They don't wake up and think, 'Is today the day I don't make it home?'" says Back the Blue HQ's Sherri Aaron, whose husband is the Mansfield police chief. "I know the families have that in their mind every day, but the officers don't."

All money raised by the sales of the t-shirts will go to Castaneda's family.

The driver of the other car was not charged. Investigators found no sign of impairment.
