DALLAS (KRLD) - A construction worker died and a second was injured when they reportedly were struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon in southwest Dallas.
According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, the workers were on the job near the intersection of West Kiest Blvd. and Mountain Creek Pkwy. when they were hit. One of the construction workers was pronounced dead at a local hospital. His identity was not released.
Authorities said the second worker was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries that are not life-threatening. The driver of the vehicle was also treated at a local hospital.
Dallas Police are investigating the incident.
