DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - The Dallas ISD has suspended a bus driver while it investigates a complaint that he refused to let a student get on.

Tuesday morning, the 17-year-old says the driver would not let him board the bus near Spring Valley and Preston Road.

"I know he doesn't stop for anybody," the teenager said. "Even though he sees you coming, he'll still leave you there, so I was just like, 'No, not this time.'"

Someone driving the other direction started shooting video of the boy when he got in front of the bus and put his hand on the hood. The video shows the driver start inching forward slowly, and the boy steps back.

A neighbor walked up to the side of the bus and started pounding on the bus near the driver's seat. The neighbor said he was calling 911.

When police arrived, the teen says he was cited for disruption of traffic.

"The district is aware of this, and the driver is on administrative leave pending the outcome of an investigation," Dallas ISD wrote in a statement.
