DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - Dallas police say they have arrested a suspect in the murder of a woman near Lower Greenville Monday night.

Family and friends say Sara Hudson, 22, was meeting them for dinner.

They called police when she never arrived. Dallas Fire Rescue found her in a burning SUV about a block from Greenville.

Police say Hudson appears to have been killed before she was left in the SUV. Her family says she graduated from the University of Arkansas this spring and had moved back to Dallas to start work with Schneider Transportation.

"The pain is beyond anything I've ever experienced," says her uncle, Anthony Sacco. "It's so untimely. Her life has been cut short."

"We're saddened by the shocking and tragic loss of a Schneider associate from our Dallas brokerage office. We are cooperating with local law enforcement in their investigation of this incident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the associate’s family, friends and co-workers during this difficult time," Schneider Transportation wrote in a statement.

Thursday morning, Dallas police said they had arrested Glen Richter, 49. They say he has been booked into jail and charged with capital murder.

Police say they interviewed Richter, but they have not confirmed a motive. They had previously said the murder appeared to have been random.

Hudson's family is planning a service for next week.
