DALLAS (1080 KRLD) - With the vandalism and looting in Deep Ellum and downtown Dallas over the weekend, several Dallas County buildings and Dallas-area shopping centers are closed today out of fears of another outbreak.

The looting was widespread as mobs of angry George Floyd protesters took rocks, bricks and even skateboards to the plate glass windows of shops, restaurants and grocery stores.

Dallas police cars were also smashed up.

With all of that, the Galleria and North Park Center are closed today as are public buildings like the Dallas County administration center, the George Allen Courts building, Founders Square and Renaissance Tower.
