DENTON (KRLD) - Denton police are still interviewing witnesses to Friday's accident and explosion that killed three.

Authorities still don't know what caused the wreck between two semis and several cars.

One of the trucks was carrying propane tanks when one of the tanks exploded.

The driver hauling the propane was among the survivors and police have been questioning him.

The wreck shut down part of I-35-W for about 13 hours Friday and into Saturday morning.

59-year-old Buckley Sachs of Fort Worth has been identified as one of the three victims of Friday's crash.

The Tarrant County medical examiner says Sachs was killed due to a combination of thermal burns and smoke inhalation.

Sachs' longtime friends Miguel says he loved helping people.

"He touched so many people and his smile was contagious. He didn't see the bad in people. He would just look at you and love you for whatever could be loved," he says.

Sachs' funeral is being planned for later this month.

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner has identified the two other killed in the wreck as:

30-year-old Jennifer Kara Ferguson of Fort Worth

63-year-old Ann Marie Cole of Denton
